ON SUNDAY THE 9TH OF JUNE, WE CELEBRATED OUR 8TH ANNUAL BYRON BAY WEDDING FAIR!
Gorgeous clear blue skies and absolute sunshine defined this colourful winter’s day for the Byron Bay Wedding Fair across the June long weekend. To put things bluntly… we really do think this was our best Wedding Fair to date! This year attracted over 700 loved up couples locally and interstate, to visit Byron Bay in search of their ultimate wedding venue and dream team of suppliers to pull together their special day… exactly as they imagined, if not better.
Over 80 of our region’s most talented vendors and suppliers showcased across 6 of the 24 venues who opened their doors for the occasion. If you were on the hunt to meet and greet Our Tribe, couples were headed to the Byron Bay Surf Club, Three Blue Ducks, Victoria’s at Ewingsdale, Byron View Farm, Forget Me Not and The Orchard Estate. From there, you could enquire or even secure on the spot the celebrant that resonated with you most in person, meet that photographer you’d be following for months on Instagram… or even speak with our florists and The Wedding Shed combined about your styling vision for the day.
Not only were our couples invited to scope out some of the most beautiful hinterland and beachfront venues in Australia to host your wedding, but we also had a handful of venues involved to host your ultimate pre or post celebrations as well as your guest accommodation. If you were in the mood for it, every box on your wedding check-list was ready to be ticked!
Every element of planning your special day was covered. The Byron Bay Surf Club had a Byron Bay Weddings information hub to answer any planning and coordination questions with Byron Bay Weddings, Savvy Wed and HENS Byron Bay... and the beautiful Emily from Elope was up at Byron View Farm to talk about all things micro-weddings.
Adventuring through the stunning Byron region across just one day; seeing awe-inspiring displays, live musicians and trying delicious tastes… it’s easy to see why our annual wedding fair attracts so many couples from all over Australia and beyond every year.
