BYRON VIEW FARM

EARTH HOUSE

A gorgeous hinterland venue, purposely built to host romantic weddings in mind. Earth House celebrates raw beauty in every way. Constructed from rammed earth, the venue presents soaring timber beams throughout and embodies the most natural rustic charm. Perhaps the most intriguing feature of this rural wedding venue, is the spectacular mountain and hinterland views.

The owner’s philosophy is tasteful simplicity, inspired by the natural environment surrounding the venue from all angles. It is the perfect blank canvas for any wedding, offering you full creative license when it comes to styling. The versatile barn-style space consists of an impressive large room with an open fireplace, polished concrete floors and opens onto a large verandah suspended over the Corndale Valley.

EWINGSDALE HALL

The Ewingsdale Hall is one of the most historic buildings in the Byron Bay area. Built in 1908, the venue is located in the scenic William Flick Lane which features a huge canopy of ancient Moreton Bay fig trees.

There are plenty of spaces to hold a ceremony; under the fig trees or a grove of trees at the rear of the building. With a recent upgrade of facilities and a large grassed field located adjacent, it is the perfect venue to accommodate guests up to 120 people. Featuring wooden floorboards, a commercial kitchen and large windows overlooking the grounds, this venue is located just outside the township of Byron Bay in a rural, picturesque setting.

FIG TREE RESTAURANT

Perched atop a hill in a lush setting with stunning manicured gardens and gorgeous ocean to hinterland views as the backdrop, the Fig Tree takes your breath away as soon as you step onto the property.

Start your day with a ceremony sheltered underneath the 150-year-old Moreton Bay fig which features a backdrop of rolling hills, Julian Rocks and the Byron Bay lighthouse. Guests then make their way to the poolside cocktail area reflecting something out of a luxury 5-star resort. After an afternoon of canapés and cocktails with your nearest and dearest, the dining experience kicks off inside the restaurant (which also features magnificent views and an absolute air of romance with humble surrounds). Che, Head Chef and owner, along with his talented team, keep things simple with fresh. Organic produce is sourced predominantly from the restaurant’s own gardens along with the fields, paddocks and oceans that surround Byron Bay. The Fig Tree also offers on-site accommodation making it easy for you, your family or bridal party to get ready in or retire to.

FORGET ME NOT

Seeking a grander scale wedding but still want to capture that rural atmosphere? Forget Me Not will deliver just that and more. Accommodating up to 150 guests and set on 100 acres of pristine rolling hills, this is the ultimate venue for couples seeking an impressive hinterland property. This venue is secluded and situated only a short 10 minute drive to Byron Bay’s town centre.

Forget Me Not is incredibly romantic. Prize winning gardens, lush rainforest, a hidden waterfall and a spectacular lake filled with water lillies frame this beautiful venue. As night falls, witness the mood change as light reflects off the lake and stars sparkle in a clear country sky. Perhaps one of the best ways to describe it, would be purely magical and fairytale like.

HINTERLAND HOUSE

Welcome to Hinterland House, an historical mansion set in Bangalow.  Just a 15-minute drive west of Byron’s town centre, experience old world charm and romance, inspiring a Great Gatsby style wedding. This property is set on 20 hectares of lush gardens and rolling hills with commanding views over a macadamia farm. Invite your guests to arrive upon a winding driveway framed by impressive palms, setting the scene for a truly spectacular celebration.

This historical homestead sleeps up to 20 guests, of whom will also enjoy a sparkling sun drenched 13 metre salt water swimming pool and the property’s manicured gardens.

VICTORIA’S EWINGSDALE

If you are after a trip to Europe for your wedding, look no further. Victoria’s Ewingsdale expresses fairytale feel, with magical gardens, views to the ocean and stone facades. This luxury wedding venue is a true hidden gem!

Exuding romance, and offering the epitome of bridal suite accommodation, with white marble floors, Juliet balconies and spacious spa baths, all in the privacy of your own air-conditioned guest room. Frida’s Field

Frida’s Field is a place to revel in the beauty of nature. An idyllic 120-acre eco-farm with stunning views of lush pasture and rolling green hills. A purpose-built timber barn designed to maximise the views, offers a grand and elegant space with neutral colours and natural textures. It has a high vaulted ceiling, exposed wooden trusses, recycled brick fireplace, and large covered verandah.

Photo opportunities abound, with your choice of several majestic ceremony trees, fields that capture ‘golden hour’ perfectly, textural sheds, and a cute cottage.

The Orchard Estate

The Orchard Estate is set on a macadamia nut orchard situated in the picturesque Byron Bay hinterland. Set across 100 acres, this premium restaurant (which only offers limited availability for weddings) overlooks the spectacular Nightcap mountain range and stands alone, offering complete privacy and serenity.
