Thanks so much for all of your efforts. Initially I questioned a wedding planner in the package hahah but boy was I wrong. You made the whole process so stress free and so many people would ask us if we had things organised etc and we were like- ahh yeahh like 6 months ago that was all booked in. All of those early phone hook ups definitely took the stress away closer to the event, so thank you for all your guidance and follow up calls!

Thank Che, Jimmy and all the staff please. They were amazing on the day, a 10 out or 10. The elite location was matched with elite service from every single staff member. The wet weather was quickly put behind us with the staff’s positive energy and service. So many of our friends even commented on how good all the staff were.

Thank you for all of your help with our wedding preparations. We honestly couldn’t fault a thing! I think it all came together so well in the end and we could just sit back and enjoy the night without having things on our mind.
BVF was gorgeous, we just wished we could have stayed for longer. Archie also became best friends with their brown border collie and I think had more fun than anyone else.
We also can’t wait to see photos!

it has been an absolute pleasure working with you leading up to the big day. Through time differences and Zoom calls, Bohdi and I have very much appreciated working with you. Thank you for making our wedding day absolutely perfect, in every way possible! Originally Bohdi and I was interested in the Byron Bay Surf Club for our wedding venue, however as it did not tick all our boxes, Che took us to the Fig Tree Restaurant as an alternative. We immediately fell in love with the place and started discussing wedding details as soon as we saw the property. Thank you for providing us with Sunrise House for our accommodation, such an incredible home for myself and the girls and for our wedding night. It was wonderful to experience having Che taking our coffee orders the morning off! The entire day worked smoothly, thanks to Jimmy and the staff on the day. If there was any issues, we didn’t notice! We loved how the day flowed, with the natural movement of people from the ceremony to the pool, and then inside to the reception. Everything felt relaxed,

In general, we feel so grateful with the accommodating, service-minded and professional staff at Fig Tree Restaurant. Our guests and us have not stopped talking about how well you looked after us on the day! We could not have asked for a better venue and staff.

To Kate, Rhonda, Che, Jimmy and the Fig Tree Staff –
for going above and beyond in search of the missing bouquets. We still don’t know what happened to them. We have received the pamper present for our honeymoon days gifted from you – this was an amazing gesture, thank you so much!

Silvy from Mi Casa did an incredible job of the flowers, they were perfect, especially when I didn’t give her anything exact. She was also super sweet.

Dan (on the day coordinator) was so great on the day at keeping the whole thing running and there was a really lovely woman (Michelle maybe?) who was working that night who I can’t thank enough.

I was so nervous before I walked down the aisle and she came up to me and said a few things that was much appreciated.

The only thing that wasn’t great was how quickly it went! It felt like I blinked and it was all over 🥲

Thank you for your patience and keeping us on track as we took our time getting things locked in. Managing a wedding, a premature baby and 2 other kids in the space of 8 months was probably more challenging than I anticipated. Thanks for making things just so simple, you really have such a beautiful nature, great ideas and experience and you made the whole process an absolute delight.

We honestly had the most wonderful wedding day, made all the more special due to the extra efforts or yourself, Che and the team.
A big shout out also to Rhonda and Matteo for all their efforts on the day, especially rolling with the change in schedules due to highly anxious kids needing to leave the venue earlier than expected and extra long speeches.

There is not one thing we would change about our day. The location was incredible, the staff amazing, the food unbelievable. We walked away thinking it was the best wedding ever, but then our guests told us the same thing in the following weeks.
This was exactly what we wanted.

A big shout out as well to your service providers who also helped make our day amazing, including: The Sea Salter, North Byron Hotel, Alex Ouston, Pikt, and Just Add Flower.

The crazy part was we almost need sun umbrellas not the heaters!

Rhonda (on the day coordinator) was also fantastic on the day and just made everything so seamless and easy. Everything we needed we always had and the team at Frida’s Field are just so impressive.

I actually don’t even know where to begin! In fact I’m tearing up just writing this email hahaha.

Thank you thank you thank you for all that you are and giving us the wedding of our absolute dreams. We’ve totally been in this bliss post wedding high for the past month and we credit you and the whole Fig Tree team for a huge portion of that euphoria. From beginning to end, it was simply the best. We really don’t have words to describe it! Every part of it was a 10 out of 10, there is nothing we could fault (shout out to Jimmy and Michelle (on the day coordinators)). We’ve had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding they’ve been to and we genuinely know that to be the truth. Like I said, just thinking about it again as I write this email is giving me all the happy tears.

I feel like thank you doesn’t even cut it, but thank you again. We’re thinking about having our first anniversary up there so if you happen to have one of your dinner events around then, count the McNamaras in haha. This isn’t goodbye, we will most definitely be back.

Before booking our venue – Fig Tree Restaurant, the whole planning process seemed a little overwhelming and daunting. However, once we booked and began working with Byron Bay Weddings, specifically Sophie our planner, it was clear we were in safe hands. Sophie was a pleasure to work with, Sophie was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and patient, nothing was ever a problem. Sophie made the whole planning process a dream, she guided us through every planning module, kept us on track and was there to answer all the many questions we had along the way.

BBW think of everything, even when the weather was looking like it is going to pour with rain, we were reassured and comforted by the fact they had every possible contingency plan ready to go. We couldn’t have achieved our most perfect day without them.

Whilst it’s already been a couple of months now, we would like to thank you so much for all your assistance leading up to and on our wedding day. It was simply incredible, and truly was our dream day.

• the chefs who prepared a divine meal for us (honestly you wouldn’t guess how many people commented on how amazing the green leaf salad was, who would have thought the simplest of dishes would be such a hit!)
• and of course, Rhonda and Jimmy. Both Rhonda and Jimmy really looked after us and we were so thankful for the calm energy they brought to the day

My partner, Lucas, and I first visited Fig Tree in 2017, and fell in love with the venue and it’s beautiful grounds, views across Byron Bay, incredible food, option to bring your own wine, and friendly staff. Fast forward to 2021 when planning our wedding, and we knew that Fig Tree was the perfect place for us. The whole wedding planning process was helped considerably by Byron Bay Weddings – they certainly thought about all of the details, some of which I hadn’t even considered! Thank you to Sophie for all of your help.

What we love about Fig Tree are the different areas which create unique ambience during the day. Under the fig tree is perfect for the ceremony, the pool area creates a relaxed ‘holiday’ vibe for cocktails and canapes, and the restaurant is just stunning with views over Byron Bay including the lighthouse and Julian Rocks. As you move around the property during the day you are struck by how beautiful it is.

We received so many compliments on the food – with guests commenting that it was the best wedding food they have ever experienced. Everything is so fresh and the ‘paddock to plate’ experience shines through. We are very into our wine, and as members of a Yarra Valley winery we could have our own wine at Fig Tree to complement the food – we loved this!

The staff at Fig Tree are simply phenomenal. Thank you to Che, Rhonda, Jimmy and Jack. You were so friendly, helpful and supportive and went out of your way to ensure we felt special leading up to and on our big day. There may be other weddings taking place while you’re on site the night before, but you wouldn’t know – the staff are a perfect mix of there when you need them, and in the wings when you don’t. A special shout to Jimmy, our on the day coordinator, who ensured that everyone at the wedding had a great time. All of the waiting staff were also so polite, friendly and fun.

Overall, Fig Tree is a beautiful venue which is brought to life by fantastic staff who create unforgettable weddings. We’d recommend Fig Tree to others in a heartbeat.

Matt and I truly had the best day ever. Everything went so smoothly, it was perfect! 🙂 All of the guests commented on how amazing the food was and that it was the best wedding they have been to. I can’t thank Sihanie enough for all of her help and guidance throughout the wedding planning process.

The styling, the greenery ring and lights were so phenom I was OBSESSED it worked out perfectly I wanted to take them home haha The styling on the tables was just perfection with the plates and cutlery ect you really understood our vision from day one.  I’ll reach out to Mikarla too but her flowers and greenery were just absolute perfection I just can’t get over it!

Sunrise House was incredible too I am SO glad we stayed on site, Rhonda and Jimmy just made the day so stress free and it was such a lovely morning.

Maddie (Wedding Planner) did a fantastic job leading up to the wedding, ensuring every detail was meticulously planned and that we hadn’t forgotten anything. She really understood the vibe we were going for and brought it to life. Her suggestions and advice were invaluable.

Jimmy and Kristen (Day Coordinators) couldn’t have done a better job on the day. There was severe rain and flooding on the weekend of our wedding, but we were definitely in safe hands. Both Jimmy and Kristen are true professionals, nothing was an issue and it was so nice to be able to relax, enjoy the day and not worry about a thing as they had it covered. Every staff member was so accommodating and really took care of our guests. Their passion for what they do and expertise are really evident. Even the day after our wedding when it was raining torrentially, the team had no problem with helping us pack up our car.

I’m a bit of a foodie so food was super important to me for our wedding. The food was absolutely amazing, the feedback from our guests was that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. The portions were huge and everyone loved that it wasn’t typical “wedding food” – the grilled prawns and watermelon salad were crowd favourites.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful – it has such an intimate, elegant feel to it. The rebuild turned out better than we ever imagined.

It was honestly the best day of our lives and we wouldn’t change a thing. We would absolutely recommend the Fig Tree venue, Fig Tree Catering, and Byron Bay Weddings to anyone. We really hope one of our friends has a wedding at Fig Tree so we can experience it all again!

Che, the food and service were impeccable, unforgettable, friends and family still talk of how delicious all the food was from the canapés, feasting mains and desserts. Not to mention the pig on a spit, that was off the charts.

Nicole and Carmen; I’m speechless, what an incredible experience and utterly perfect day… and there is perfect… we nailed it! The design of the day, the details, the music, the piano, lights… we and everyone else has been left in awe. Every detail played a special role in our love, our heritage, complementing our energy. We are still on such a high from the whole weekend!

Mitch and I cannot thank you and the team enough. It was the absolute best day of our lives, we both went into it thinking being the bride and groom we wouldn’t get to enjoy the day as much as our guests but I can definitely say it’s the most fun we’ve ever had.

The accommodation was insane, the styling of the venue, the staff, the service – I can go on and on. They say your wedding day is one of the best days of your life and our day was just amazing.

We want to say a massive thank you to Katie and the little pocket rocket Chris. Chris was amazing on the night she made everything so breezy, always ensured the drinks where flowing and that Mitch and I were having fun. The chefs, oh my goodness! The food was to die for, I’m literally still dreaming about that lamb! The guests and ourselves were saying it was the best wedding food we’ve all ever had. We both can’t believe the amount of food supplied!

Dear Fig Tree,

Thank you so, so, so, so much for what was the most unforgettable day of both Winston and I’s lives! We could not fault anything from the day. From the start to the end everything was delivered with such grace, personality, professionalism and most of all with heart.
