What vintage cars do you have on offer and how many people do they seat?

Byron Bay Kombis: We have two split-screen kombis.`Granny´is cream coloured and ´Peppy´is a mint coloured beauty. Both have been lovingly restored and not only transport 8 passengers plus the driver, but also a lot of nostalgic charm. They make people smile wherever they show up and exist as the perfect addition to any special occasion!

What luxury vehicles do you have on offer and how many people do they seat?

Byron Bay Luxe Limousines: We have all latest model luxury European cars, with full leather interior. A white Mercedes E class sedan (seats 4 guests), a white Mercedes Viano (seats 7 guests), a gun-metal grey Audi Q7 (seats 6 guests) and a gun-metal grey Mercedes Viano (seats 7 guests).

What is the history behind your cars?

Byron Bay Kombis: Granny came to us as a pretty big project. She is a Kombi from 1958; most parts needed to be overhauled in order to make her worthy of transporting our guests on their special day. From reupholstery to sandblasting and panel beating, she’s been through the lot! Peppy is our latest addition and came a long way from overseas with the steering wheel on the left. The two of them complement each other fantastically well!

What is included in your service? 

Byron Bay Kombis: When you make a booking with us it includes being chauffeured from your venue to whichever places you choose to go for your reception, party and photographs. We offer years of experience on how to make the day go as smoothly as possible and where to take the best pictures. An esky in the car keeps the drinks cold, our big umbrellas the hair dry and blankets keep you cosy if need be!

Byron Bay Luxe Limousines: We are happy to fully customise the experience to the clients wishes. We provide complimentary sparkling/still quality water, ribbons on cars if requested, and iceboxes for drinks if required. We carry a full emergency ‘fix it’ kit for any last minute fix its!

How far in advance should couples book their bridal transport with you?

Byron Bay Kombis: Most people tend to book their transport a year in advance, others book a couple of months before. A deposit secures your booking and we block the date for you, which means that the sooner you book, the better the chances of us being available to transport you! But even if you’re out to find transport last minute, it’s always worth asking.

Byron Bay Luxe Limousines: We take bookings a season ahead, so are often booked out for weddings a year in advance but will always do our best to help couples out last minute in any way we can!

Can your cars be used during the bridal shoot? Where are some great places around Byron Bay to photograph with your cars? 

Byron Bay Kombis: Our Kombis are super popular for bridal shoots and make the perfect backdrop. We normally figure out the best place to take pictures together with the couple itself and the wedding photographer. Popular spots are the Byron Bay Lighthouse, Wategos Beach, the old fig trees in Ewingsdale or even the backroads towards Bangalow that have unbelievable scenery and landscape.
