Real Wedding // Jady & James’ Byron View Farm Wedding

Meeting 9 years ago, Jady & James had an instant connection and hit it off from the get-go. Combining their lives, they decided on forever together and had their dream day at Byron View Farm. Mother nature turned it on just for them as the rains cleared for one day during this particular week so, Jady & James along with their nearest and dearest could enjoy their intimate and relaxed day at Byron View Farm. Read on to hear just how magical their day was.

Tell us your story, how did you both meet?
We met almost 9 years ago online (when it was frowned upon and not very common). I knew instantly he was my person. We came from completely different backgrounds but we had the same morals and perspectives on life and we just clicked.

How did the proposal happen?
The proposal happened in Hawaii on our second last day of the trip in our hotel room. He proposed after I got out of the shower! I loved it as I know he’s not a romantic guy so the fact that he even proposed was enough for me.

What style were you striving for with your table settings, florals and reception? Was there a certain look or vibe that you wanted to create?
A simple and clean boho vibe. We are very easy going and down to earth kind of people so we didn’t want anything over the top.

Were there any certain vendors that you loved working with and why?
We loved all our vendors, they were all lovely and easy to deal with. A very special mention to Rebellyous Cakes as all our guest were raving about how delicious our wedding cake was and it was the best cake that they have ever had. Also, the amazing food from Fig Tree Restaurant, all of our guests absolutely loved it!

Overall, what was your most favourite part of your wedding day and why?
We were very lucky to have been able to have our wedding with all our family and friends before the Covid lockdown. It was also pouring with rain the day before and the day after our wedding, we were extremely lucky that the weather cleared up just for our day!
