With our heads generally stuck in planning beautiful weddings and events for other people, it’s not often we get to stop and connect with our local talented suppliers and experience the beauty ourselves. Thanks to Lovestoned Bridal, Templefarm House, Elope and Fig Tree Restaurant, we were treated to the most splendid soirée; an afternoon of gin cocktails and grazing platters deep in the Byron hinterland at one of the region’s most dreamy elopement locations. A beautiful occasion in honour of what makes us all jump out of bed in the morning, ready to make some magic happen.
The incredible location, known as Templefarm House, is set atop the rolling hills of Nashua, just a few minutes from the township of Bangalow. Aside from the obvious astounding backdrop, the property offers 75 acres to explore with complete privacy and seclusion. The fire pit is a winner for groups, not to mention the 25-metre lap pool!
Sleeping up to 9 people, this isn’t just a luxury accommodation venue. Templefarm House has recently teamed up with our sister company, Elope, to offer magical micro-weddings of up to 20 people. Elope creates seriously jaw-dropping intimate occasions which enjoy all the formalities of a traditional wedding, just on a smaller scale.
The styling of soft and modern details, embellished with tints of peach, apricot, and terracotta against earthy characteristics of marble, clay pots and crystals was dreamed up by Nikau Flower Bar and The Wedding Shed. We absolutely love this sunset palette which we’re hoping to see a lot more of this wedding season.
