Gone are the days where winter weddings are unheard of, it’s fast becoming one of the most desirable seasons to get married in Byron Bay. Why? There’s a number a different factors why couples are embracing the winter months from venue availability, the beautiful subtropical temperatures, awe-inspiring sunsets and price.
To set the tone for a magical winter soiree, we brought some of the region’s most sought after suppliers together to create something truly unique. This styled shoot set at the iconic byronviewfarm features the fullness of colour in winter blooms, from deep ruby reds to blush rose tones, native greenery, grapes and figs, shimmering fairy lights and elegant styling.
Imagine dining on a long banquet table under a fairy light tunnel as the sun sets. Dance into the night and embrace the cooler temperatures with mulled wine and whiskey under dazzling lights, setting the mood for a long evening soiree. The checkered dance floor keeps the atmosphere lively, while the elegant vases and furniture ignites the mood for a sophisticated and romantic evening affair.
Carlie wears clothing supplied by Sphere Collective. Featured is the crystal body suit by designer Marilyn Crystelle paired with the Callie skirt by One Day Bridal. Also by One Day Bridal is the Elliot gown. All gowns perfect for a winter wedding.
The styling for this shoot was by the talented team at The Wedding Shed and The Grove Styling. All furniture, decor and props seen can be hired through The Wedding Shed. The incredible fairy light tunnel was designed by Byron Audio. They absolutely love a challenge when it comes to designing a new lighting installation. And the spectacular floral displays were put together by Kelley and Jaala from Bower Botanicals.
