Tony Velvet aka Vinyl Richie brings the vibes to ensure your day will roll seamlessly into the night. Weddings are special and each one has a unique feeling and flow which needs to be catered for. Tony is a connoisseur of curating music that brings your dream wedding to fruition. Drawing on wealth of musical knowledge he combines both Vinyl and digital music to set the scene so your wedding and reception can flow as easily as the champagne.

With nearly 10 years of experience as a working DJ and musician his specialty is reading the room and creating a unique musical experience for your wedding. This can be dancing, sing-a-longs or just straight up social vibes (and most likely a combination of all 3). When working with Tony he encourages you to include him in the planning process. This allows him to form a musical plan that ties each of the events throughout the day / night together.

Tony can cater for weddings of all sizes and styles. He can supply all the necessary equipment including the PA system and microphones and can run sound for speeches and even small bands. His specialty is playing funk, disco, reggae, hip-hop, R&B, rock, House, rare grooves and all things good vibe. His CV includes playing shows at Splendour In The Grass, Party In the Paddock, Wink Wink Nudge Nudge, as well as many local clubs, bars and private functions.
