The Onyx Duo passionately explore and cross the musical boundaries of classical, contemporary and popular music genres. The osmosis created by the piano and cello is a perfect combination, setting a timeless, intimate musical atmosphere for you and your guests to experience elevating your dream wedding.

The versatile and dynamic cello and piano duo was born In Byron Bay, upon the meeting of Irish cellist Tara-Lee Byrne and French pianist Jordane François. We are professional classically trained musicians having forged our performing and teaching careers in Europe.

Jordane and Tara-Lee have performed at over 1000 weddings in Europe and Australia, from traditional religious and cultural ceremonies to receptions in enchanting Irish castles, sublime French Chateaux, Mediterranean islands and top-secret celebrity nuptials. We will guide you through the process of selecting music that celebrates your love story.

Our diverse repertoire playlist includes popular well-known classical masterpieces and intimate beautiful covers of modern-day songs including Coldplay, Adele, Billie Eilish John Legend, Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Bruno
Mars, and much more. For your canapés reception, we expand our musical horizons with tangos, jazz, pop music, musical theatre, and music from the movies.
