The Mez Club

The Mez Club Byron Bay is a unique and stunning venue. Guests are instantly transported to a sun-drenched European escape where the cocktails are vibrant and the food is local and fresh. Plates pile out of the kitchen to cover the tables for a shared meze experience.

Famous for fresh handcrafted cocktails, the bar stocks high-quality boutique spirits and house-made syrups, an extensive wine list and plenty of bubbles for any occasion.

Upstairs, you will find a slightly moodier, more intimate cocktail bar with Moroccan arches and a grass pitched roof. This upstairs event space is perfect for pre-wedding drinks and dinners or post-wedding recovery day drinks. Seating up to 50 guests, or 70 for a cocktail style event, the upstairs area boasts it’s own bar and unbeatable atmosphere.

Head Chef, Dayron Conception infuses experience, passion, and inspiration into each dish. Inspired by local and fresh ingredients the share plates transport you around the Mediterranean sea. Think Spanish islands, south of France, Sicily, and Morocco.

Roasted carrot hummus with harissa, olive oil, sumac, and traditionally made pita bread

Grilled prawns, capers, parsley & lemon

Short rib served on crushed caramelised parsnip, root vegetable chips, horseradish, and beef jus.
