Elegant, bespoke and individual, Millie’s of Newrybar, based in the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland, creates delectable desserts, cakes and more for weddings, celebrations and any special occasion. Owner and cake designer, Dione, has been making cakes for over 10 years and from a young age had a passion for making anything sweet. The name Millie was her Grandmother’s name and has a special connection for her, “My Grandmother used to create the most intricate cake designs that I adored”.
Your wedding or celebration cake is a focal feature on your special day. Dione will work with you to ensure that you have a unique creation that will not only taste amazing but will also look amazing. “I can create any look that you are after including textured marble, intricate fondant work, sugar flowers right through to the trending semi-naked and drip style cakes”. All cakes, desserts, icings and fillings such as salted caramel, citrus curd and cherry jam are all handmade using high quality produce. Dione can cater for all dietary requirements, including vegan, gluten free, dairy-free and refined sugar free.
