Situated kilometres from any major city, surrounded by a lush tropical rolling hinterland and secluded world famous beaches; visiting the Byron region can give you the sensation that you’ve escaped some kind of reality of the ‘outside’ world and you’ve stepped into another realm. Not only does Byron encompass all the natural beauty and vibe of a tropical island, it also boasts amazing night life, restaurants and shopping. Located only a quick flight from most major cities in Australia (and only 45 minutes drive from the airport), it’s the perfect place to host a destination wedding.
We collaborated with The Wedding Shed to create an atmosphere that captured the relaxed ‘island like’ Byron vibe. Using a completely neutral palette helped create a sense of serenity. We chose coconuts as the feature table piece bringing an element of summer and a fun, earthy, island feel to the overall theme (coconuts are easy to source and affordable). The intricate coral details spells tropical paradise and the crystal glassware brings a touch of elegance. It’s all about using organic elements and not letting your tables look too perfectly organised to keep the feeling relaxed and carefree; which is what we’re all about in Byron.
Featured are Spell & The Gypsy Collective’s new range of bridal gowns that will take you from sand to city to chapel to fields. Their unique gowns are made with luxurious embroidered silk, signature milled lace and hand-beaded detail. They’re the perfect match for a Byron Bay wedding.

Remember whatever styling, theme or decor you choose is a way to illustrate you as a couple and add your personal touch to your celebration.
