Our Venues

Byron Bay offers an abundance of incredible wedding venues. Whether you’re after ocean views, a hinterland outlook, total luxury or barn style, it really won’t be hard to find a venue which ticks all the boxes.

2016 Wedding Dress Trends

New York Bridal Fashion Week has come and gone and the wedding dresses were absolutely stunning, from A lines and ball gowns to overly feminine skirts, whimsical jumpsuits and playful mini’s for the more fashion-forward ceremony. There was something for everyone!  We’ve broken down some of our favourite trends that we can’t wait to see our brides’ rock in 2016.

3D-Floral Appliqués

From Top Left: Marchesa | Mira Zillwinger |  Jenny Packham | Angel Sanchez

Floral appliqués will always be a bridal standby, but these three-dimensional embellishments make romantic gowns look increasingly modern. Whether it’s an oversized sheer laser-cut appliqué or tiny, shimmering beaded bloom, these textured adornments bring a gown to life.

Chic Trousers and Jumpsuits

From Top Left: Elizabeth Filmore | Carolina Herrera  | Houghton | Naeem Khan

A truly modern approach to bridal wear, lots of designers showed chic trouser suits and jumpsuits as a major mark on this season. From tailored tuxedos to a boho wide-leg pair of pants with a ruffled top, dresses no longer dominate wedding-day attire.

Stylish Separates

From Top Left: Theia | Elizabeth Fillmore | Jean-Ralph Thurin | Sarah Seven

After their success on the bridal runways last season, separates are a trend set to continue for 2016 brides.

Plunging Necklines

From Top Left: Marchesa | Mira Zillwinger | Galia Lahav | Angel Sanchez

For the truly daring bride plunging necklines were aplenty at the Spring 2016 New York Bridal Fashion Week. From the red carpet to the bridal runway, plunging necklines are here to stay. The revealing neckline took multiple sexy forms this season whether it was the deep (deep) V’s or the less severe scalloped slits. Definitely not for the faint hearted!

Short Dresses

From Top Left: Oscar de la Renta | Jenny Packham |  Naeem Khan | Delphine Manivet

Short dresses have become an increasingly popular option for brides, whether they plan to wear it for the whole celebration or just the reception, but this season hemlines rose to even high lengths. Playful mini’s — from beaded shifts to adorable A-line numbers that hit mid-thigh — were all the rage this runway season.
