Sorry for the delay - we've just got back from our honeymoon! Just a quick email to say thank-you so much for the lovely catering at our wedding! Literally every guest commented on the fantastic food (and quantity!). Personally - I loved the lemon tarts! The catering and drinks staff were fantastic - constantly bringing around food and topping up glasses - always with a smile! It was a pleasure working with you both and we'll be sure to have dinner at the Fig Tree again next time we're up in Byron.

I am writing on behalf of James, myself and both our families. We would like to thank you and the Staff at the Figtree for going above and beyond our expectations to ensure our wedding was a happy and enjoyable experience. Despite the weather reports and looming rain, you were still able to consider our dreams for an outdoor wedding and did everything you could to try and ensure a dinner under the stars. Unfortunately, the weather reports were right and the heavens opened up (despite all my positive thoughts), you and your staff were able to quickly and smoothly change the plans to accommodate our guests and our needs, changing the menu at the very last minute without batting an eyelid.

We had numerous comments throughout the night and over the last few days from our guests, commending the staff at the Figtree for their amazing service. The staff were very friendly and courteous, always ensuring everyone had something to eat and drink, and also ensuring important guests (bride, groom, parents, grandparents and guests with dietary requirements) were well looked after. After initial problems with another venue, we stumbled across the Figtree, and from the very beginning you were able to see the vision for our day and worked especially hard to ensure that our day would turn out how we had dreamed. Now we cannot imagine our wedding day any other way (even with the rain), and are over the moon that we had it at the Figtree.

The Figtree restaurant definitely holds a special place in our hearts and we will definitely be back in the future. Maybe we might get our dinner under the stars there one day. I would also like to add, that i am glad we did decide to set up outside even though we didnt get to use it, everyone was able to see "what would have been" and as i said on the day, i would rather it be this way then not set it up at all and then it not rain.

We would love our wedding featured on your website or blog (if you're game), i will forward links from Blue Tulip Imaging once we receive them. As for us, we are back at work for another month (no honeymoon yet) before jetting of for 3 months of travelling around Europe starting in April. We have just come back from Byron after a few lazy days unwinding after a hectic few months, we did pop into the Fig Tree. and Why Not! to see you both but as we heard you have been busy bee's with weddings and other functions, what shame not to say hi! We read your article in the Byron shire news which was great to see you are getting the exposure you both truly deserve. We also wanted to thank you in person for our wonderful wedding day... People are still talking about what a fabulous time they had and it has been the best wedding they have attended. I can not recommend you highly enough to other people considering a destination wedding.
