your wedding at the figtree
Venue hire at the Figtree is $500 from Sunday through till Friday and $1500 on Saturdays.
The Figtree closes at 11pm. Transport must be organised in advance with guests beginning to depart from 10.30pm and no drinks being served after this time.
The Figtree is a 40 seat a' la carte restaurant. For sit-down receptions, there is a $16pp fee (when you exceed 40 guests), which includes the hire costs of all table and glassware. For a canapé reception, this is reduced to $6pp, which includes all additional glassware.
Sunday surcharge of 10% applies; this is on food and corkage only.
Public holiday surcharge of 15% applies; this is on food and corkage only.
The Figtree does not take responsibility for any personal property which is left on the premises over night. It is recommended to allocate somebody to collect all valuables (drinks, presents, music equipment etc)
Food and drink is not allocated to photographers, musicians, celebrants, drivers or any other third party. This can easily be arranged beforehand, so that their meal and/or corkage is added to the wedding bill.
We are not responsible for any change in climate or weather which may influence or change wedding plans. We reserve the right to use our judgment and make decisions based on experience and professionalism in regards to how the weather will affect wedding proceedings.
We take no responsibility for any of the guests actions resulting in damage to the venue i.e.: lawns being destroyed etc
Any damaged or stolen property will be added to the wedding bill.
We reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol to any guest deemed to be offensive to staff, but do take responsibility for the responsible consumption of alcohol.
No amplified music is allowed at the Figtree whatsoever and we reserve the right to refuse certain musicians to play at our discretion.
For wedding parties over 40, guest transport must be organised prior.
Final numbers and payment is required 3 working days in advance.
your wedding at an outside venue
Venue hire is subject and varies from venue to venue
We provide catering services until 12 midnight. Transport must be organised in advance with guests beginning to depart from 11.30pm and no drinks being served after this time. Please be aware that some venues close earlier than this.
There is an outside catering service of $16pp. This includes all table and glassware, set up and pack down, staffing and transport. This does not include tables and chairs.
Depending on the specifications of the venue other costs may be incurred, for example additional cooking equipment and catering tent, generators, portable toilets and waste removal.
