We would like to sincerely thank you and all your staff at Why Not for making our wedding dinner such a wonderful experience.

The food was sensational and the service provided was absolutely excellent. From the beginning we knew that Why Not was the ideal venue to create the wedding we were hoping for. We thank you for all your communication and time over the months leading up to our wedding in giving us menu options and accommodating all of our requests. We had a fantastic night and the venue was perfect for our intimate celebration.

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Jules and Che for all the work you did for our wedding the weekend before last. We had such an amazing time. The food was sensational - I had so many comments from guests about the quality and quantity of the food - and you have an incredible talent for hiring staff. The guys who worked at our wedding were so friendly, approachable and eager-to-help - it was a pleasure to work with you all. I won't hesitate to recommend you to anyone keen to have a Byron wedding.

I can't thank you enough!!! I had such an amazing day, every one of my guests have been raving about my beautiful wedding, the food, how good the wait staff were, just couldn't fault the service.

The Figtree is a beautiful place, Matt and I dropped in to say 'thankyou' on Monday but unfortunately missed you. Please thank your staff for me, Rhonda was so helpful and they other young guy I can't remember his name was fantastic. Now to plan our honeymoon :) I'll be in touch regarding photo's from Craig our photographer when they're ready. Thanks again for making our wedding day AMAZING!!!

I seriously cannot thankyou enough. Saturday was outrageously amazing. I can't shut people up about how fantastic the food was, and your staff were impeccable all night. I think I may even have my bridesmaid Lyndsay, seriously considering emigrating now!!Yyyeeesaaahhh! Anyway you made the whole night so easy, and all the recommended services we used were fantastic.

This is to thank you so much for all your work and attention to all of us at Neil and Jessica Fairley’s wedding at the Fig Tree over the last weekend. I’m Pat, Neil’s aunty, who was the MC for the night. I want to say how beautiful your place is and how relaxed you made us all feel. Nothing was left to chance and your helpfulness, kindness and niceness was wonderful. The food was excellent and everyone has said how much they enjoyed it. You made our day a spectacular affair, we couldn't be happier. We (Daz & I) have been meaning to get around to writing you a letter of thanks, we will do that together. But just a quick personal one from me. I knew from the moment that I laid on eyes on the Figtree that it was the place for me, it has a certain energy that I connected with immediately, and then meeting you was confirmation that this was the place, and the people for me. Che, I had the most magnificent day, and by all accounts it seems so did everyone else, just quietly we got the vote for "wedding of the decade" wahooo......and alot of that is down to you, so I cannot say any more than thank you and to your wonderful team, the saying that it is a moment in time is so true, and i feel so very blessed that mine was such a sensational moment:)))))

Just a quick note to let you know what a great establishment you are. I was a guest at the above wedding and you may remember, it bucketed down as soon as the vows were finished and you guys were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, and when the lights went out, it became ambience instead of a disaster. Well done. The food was exceptional and I enjoyed every mouthful right up until the end of the evening. It has been a long time since I saw staff smiling right up until the end of the night. Will you please pass on my comments to all concerned for a job really well done.

We had the most amazing day, and we were so impressed with the staff at Fig Tree., they were so helpful and friendly, it really made a difference, we had a lot of comments from our friends and family on how great the staff were, how beautiful the location was and how wonderfully yummy the food was. We have returned from our honeymoon and just wanted to say a huge Thank You for catering our wedding on 18th February. The team that was involved was wonderful and did an amazing job and we can’t thank them enough! The food was fantastic and we loved the giant Pavlova for our wedding cake. Its always difficult booking everything online as you never know what you might get however the service from the Fig Tree was way above our expectations and we really appreciated what a fantastic team you are.

We just wanted to send you a quick email to say thank you so so much for creating the PERFECT wedding day. It was amazing and we are so pleased we chose the Fig Tree and will certainly be recommending it as a wedding venue (think I may have already persuaded a few customers after showing EVERYONE our photos!) But really just thought it would be nice for you to hear some feed back, the staff were amazing! so attentive and polite and always had smiles on the faces, the food was delicious and plentiful, and just the whole layout was exactly how I pictured it. All our guests commented on this too and kept on say how perfect it really was. Could you also please say a big thank you to all the staff and also the girls at WhyNot!! for caring so much about our day, it added to the whole experience and to you also for having such a great team and running a beautiful business.

I was a guest at the wedding of Kara and Craig on Saturday and would like to thank you on the fantastic meal your restaurant served. The Binna Burra sirloin was cooked to perfection and was one of the best meals I have had the pleasure of eating. I would also like to congratulate you on the service of your staff as they were very professional and competent. It all made for a wonderful day and one which I will remember fondly.

I just wanted to send you a note to say thank you so much for making our wedding dreams come true!! You and your team did such a fabulous job and I cant thank you enough!! We have had so many compliments about the delicious food at our wedding! The team on the day were just great! Right down to setting up all those candles, I couldn't believe it when I walked in and saw how fabulous it looked and knowing how busy Glenn and his family were prior to the ceremony, they just couldn't have done without them!

You really made the whole process to easy and stress free, we knew we didn't have to worry about a thing and that you had everything completely under control, thank you! Ill be recommending you very highly to everyone I speak to!

We have just come back from Byron after a few lazy days unwinding after a hectic few months, we did pop into the Fig Tree. and Why Not! to see you both but as we heard you have been busy bee's with weddings and other functions, what shame not to say hi! We read your article in the Byron shire news which was great to see you are getting the exposure you both truly deserve. We also wanted to thank you in person for our wonderful wedding day... People are still talking about what a fabulous time they had and it has been the best wedding they have attended. I can not recommend you highly enough to other people considering a destination wedding. I'm planning on doing a blog piece on my website about you soon and using the article as reference, will send you a link once it's finalised. We wish we could come to some of your events posted in the email but as yet we don't have any future plans back in Byron... Although I'm sure I'll visit again before the years out. Thank you so much again for everything you did for us, our guest and making our wedding day one to remember for all involved.

David & I would like to thank you for the care and attention you and your staff put into our wedding day. The service and food were excellent, your staff were courteous, respectful & patient, and the venue looked great. We particularly appreciated how many times the staff needed to adjust umbrellas for shade - that was a bigger job than I anticipated. We appreciate everything you put into it. We had a wonderful wedding & reception. So thank you for your contribution to that.
