In the words of the beautiful bride:
"We drove up to Byron Bay from Sydney and spent the week up there with friends and family.  Stew is from England (he migrated to Australia 6 years ago) and his mum, dad, sisters and niece all travelled over for the wedding. We hadn’t yet met his niece, so it was really special to have her there as our flowergirl. The ceremony was held down at Belongil Beach.
We really wanted our day to be a social, intimate gathering of our close friends and family, so we opted for a cocktail style party around the pool where everyone could mingle, rather than a sit-down dinner. For these reasons Figtree was the perfect venue, it had the vibe of having a party in our own home, with the benefit of them taking care of everything for us. We had a lot of comments from our guests on how amazing the food and the staff we’re.
